The new Northumbrian
Castles mug depicts four of the most famous and beautiful castles in
Northumberland. They are:- Warkworth, Alnwick, Lindisfarne and
Bamburgh. The images are merged to create a wrap around colourful
design. There are four coasters, one of each castle,
complimenting the mug.

The Warkworth
Castle coaster is taken from the original watercolour "Coquet at
Warkworth" (Ref: FS) and can be seen in the "Northumbrian
Castles" page of the gallery.
The original painting has been sold, but is available as a print or card. |

The coaster of
Alnwick Castle is part of a larger original watercolour "Alnwick
Castle and the Pastures", (Ref: GF) and painted in 2008.
It can also be viewed in its entirety in the Gallery section.

"Boat
moored by Lindisfarne" (Ref:DN) is the title of the original painting
from which the Lindisfarne Castle coaster is taken. The whole
painting is displayed in the Gallery secion.
The original work has been sold and as there are no prints available, it is now only reproduced as a card. |

The Bamburgh
Castle coaster completes the set. Taken from an original watercolour
of 1976 vintage, titled "Early morning at Bamburgh" (Ref:
EE).
